  • JoAnne Peterman is the founder and visionary behind Beauty & Soul Salon & Wellness, a sanctuary built on the belief that beauty isn’t just something you wear—it’s something you become.

    With over four decades in the salon industry, JoAnne has dedicated her life to redefining the beauty experience. What began as a traditional salon has evolved into a holistic destination where luxury services, wellness, and personal transformation meet. At the heart of it all is her passion for empowering women, fostering growth, and creating a culture rooted in purpose and connection.

    As a certified mindset coach, yoga instructor, and Reiki practitioner, JoAnne brings a rare blend of business leadership and soulful wisdom to her work. Her approach supports both clients and team members in feeling confident, grounded, and inspired—inside and out.

    Beyond the salon, JoAnne is an Ironman triathlete, endurance athlete, and lifelong wellness advocate. At 62, she continues to challenge limits, rewrite old narratives, and embody the belief that growth is available at every stage of life.

    Beauty & Soul Salon & Wellness is her legacy—a space intentionally created to nurture beauty, cultivate community, and support holistic well-being for every person who walks through its doors.

  • I’ve been an esthetician since 2005, and for the past 22 years I’ve loved helping clients feel confident, cared for, and educated about their skin. I’m deeply connected to results-driven skincare, including advanced treatments like Hydrafacials, PCA peels, dermaplaning, and oncology facials.

    My approach is calm, intentional, and focused on creating a relaxing environment while prioritizing your individual skin goals. I want every guest to feel supported and confident in the care they receive, both during their treatment and beyond the treatment room.

    My goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and trusting in the guidance we’ve created together. I hope you remember feeling genuinely cared for and empowered with knowledge that supports your skin and home-care routine.

    Outside of the spa, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three daughters, staying active, and being outdoors.

  • I’ve been in the beauty industry for 17 years and am deeply connected to all things color—from all-over color and blonding to foiling and extensions. I love creating looks that feel intentional, flattering, and aligned with each guest’s vision and long-term hair goals.

    My approach is rooted in communication and trust. I take the time to consult with every guest, ask thoughtful questions, and use visuals when helpful so we’re truly on the same page. I also recommend products I genuinely believe in to support your hair journey beyond the salon.

    I want guests to feel heard, comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely connected during their time with me. My hope is that you leave feeling beautiful, supported, and confident—knowing you have someone in your corner who’s here to listen, guide, and help you feel your best inside and out.

    Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and love cheering on my son at his baseball and basketball games.

  • I’ve been in the salon industry for 27 years and specialize in color that feels thoughtful and intentional—from precise color matching and gray coverage to fashion colors, curly hair, and special occasion styles.

    My approach depends on the client. I ask questions to clearly understand the look you want and offer education as needed—but whether you’re in the mood for a quiet appointment or feeling chatty, I meet you there. I’m a little quirky and love making sure each guest’s time in my chair feels comfortable and natural.

    Outside of the salon, I enjoy fantasy movies and books, spending time with family, hosting game nights, and embracing adventure—big or small.

  • I’ve been in the beauty industry for 11 years and love creating hair that feels transformative and personal. My specialties include blonding, custom color, vivid colors, extensions, and full hair transformations that help guests feel like the best version of themselves.

    I bring a positive, personable energy to every appointment and place a strong emphasis on communication. Making sure guests feel welcomed, listened to, and truly cared for in my chair is always my priority. I want each experience to feel collaborative, comfortable, and thoughtful from start to finish.

    My goal is for guests to leave feeling excited, pampered, relaxed, and confident in their new look—along with feeling educated and empowered to care for their hair at home. I hope guests remember the pride and care I put into their hair and how beautiful and well taken care of they felt during their time with me.

    Outside of the salon, I enjoy reading, embroidery, making earrings, cooking, hosting and planning events, playing games, and spending time with my family.

Front Desk Coordinator

  • I help create a welcoming, supportive experience for every guest at Beauty & Soul through thoughtful communication, attention to detail, and genuine care. My focus is on making sure each visit feels smooth, comfortable, and easy from start to finish.

    I love building rapport and remembering the little things—continuing conversations, anticipating needs, and making sure guests always feel valued. Whether I’m answering questions, problem-solving, or sharing a laugh, my goal is to ensure no one ever feels like a burden.

    Outside of the salon, I enjoy staying active, trying new experiences, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also certified in nutrition and fitness, which supports my passion for wellness and balance.

    I bring an energetic, positive attitude to each interaction and love making conversation and connecting with guests. Whether I’m helping answer questions or assisting at the front desk, I want every guest to feel welcomed and cared for during their visit.

    Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time with friends, shopping, and trying new places to eat. Those moments help me recharge and bring positive energy into my work each day.
